When Perls was located across the street, it was a "lingerie modeling" operation that was basically a front for handjobs and from time to time outright sex. I had some good times there over the years though it had become less of a sure thing by the time the name was changed from "Lady J's" to "Pearls".

This was the first time I had been to the new location, and it appeared the place was making more of an effort to appear to be a real strip club. I wasn't listening too closely to the whole spiel, but I believe I was told it was a private club with a $25 temporary membership fee, ie: basically a cover charge.

Since they do nude dancing, there is no alcohol, but BYOB is OK. There was one stage in the middle of the club, with curtained rooms for private dances around the edges. When I got there, shortly after midnight, there was nobody bothering to dance the main stage, but there were a few girls sitting around the edges.
