The legendary Queen of Hearts. ...
The legendary Queen of Hearts. I've had many friends tell me over the years about late-night visits to this fine Fenton institution, but I'd never personally made the trek until now. It was just after 11 on a Friday night. Place wasn't packed, but there was a good amount of people there. The place was clean and seemed as though it was recently remodeled. Drinks were cheap, which was much appreciated after being gouged at the game. We sat a table near the stage and took in the show. There was a rotation of 3 girls for the stage, all of which were relatively solid in looks and dancing, which was a pleasant surprise. One of the dancers even treated us to a show on the stripper pole, scaling the pole like a champ - spinning and twirling - rivaling the best I've seen. Everything I'd heard about this place in the past had become a running joke - dancers ugly and fat with stretch marks, guys throwing money on stage for them to STOP dancing - the list goes on and on. But in my eyes, this place has been unjustly ridiculed. Don't get me wrong, this place is not a premier club like you'd find in Las Vegas, nor will it hold muster with the finer clubs on the East side, but it's genuinely a decent club with decent girls - a great place to have a drink, play some pool and take in the sites.
