I was in town on a...

I was in town on a Thursday night and, after reading reviews, this sounded like the best Lafayette had to offer. I went in with high hopes and left very disappointed.

I stopped in late...around 1am or so. Paid the $5 cover...the bouncer was friendly. The friendliest employee in the club that night, actually. I walked to the bar to order a beer. The bartender was busy talking to, what appeared to be, a dancer who was done with her shift. I waited a good 2-3 minutes before they finished their conversation then the bartender looked at me and asked, "What do you want?" I ordered my beer, $4.50 I believe, and found an empty table and sat down.

Only 1 stage was being used. The first row of seats around the stage were filled with 3 or 4 guys who were together and, what appeared to be, 2-3 dancers who had finished their shift and were just hanging around. No dancers were walking around. There were 4 or 5 working this shift. There was a group of 3 sitting together and the other 2 were sitting with, what I assume to be, regulars and/or their boyfriends. When their name was called to dance, they went to the stage and after they finished they went directly back to their seats.
