Club Fantasies, as a famous coach once said, "is what it is". Over the last several years it has been reported here that the club is in steep decline. I'm not sure that's the case; certainly an argument can be made that the place has always been sort of a dump, but people forgive the place for its warts. Sorry, I should have said "faults", although I'm pretty sure I wasn't wrong.

Fantasies is a huge place, and it's very easy to get to from the highway. It has plenty of parking and doesn't seem terribly dangerous, which is not to be taken lightly in Providence. The place has HUGE potential, which is why I think people are so frequently disappointed.

For the newcomer, CF is -dark-. If you go before sundown be prepared to feel BLIND when entering the club. It really does take your eyes a bit to adjust to exactly how dim the lighting is in the place. Walk in and set up next to the bar, which is clean, stocked, and reasonably priced. There is a large open dance area and several LD booths on the first floor. The second floor is laid out almost identically, with simply more space for VIP rooms. This also gives you an out in busy times - you can escape a girl by simply saying you need to catch up to your friend on the other floor. I've used this shamelessly, and it's a necessary evil.
