I took a few days off...

I took a few days off of work at went down to Tucson to see a friend. While there, we both ended up heading to Curves on Thursday afternoon. This was my first time at the club, but I can say that if it was in Phoenix, it wouldn't be my last trip.

The quality of dancers available was decent. A lot of 7's and 8's were available. I didn't see anything higher in my book, but I was only there for about an hour.

Floor dances are $10, VIP is $20. While I appreciate not having to pay $15 a dance like what HiLiter in Phoenix charges for "wall dances", having bouncers counting floor dances tends to interrupt some of the intimate nature of dances that I am used to in clubs where the dancers handle the transactions. Though I am not positive, I assume this is probably done to ensure that dancers give everything they owe to the club for working there. In my opinion, VIP is where you want to be. If you get the right dancer, they can be fairly high mileage, and at $20 a song, it hits the midpoint between what I am used to paying for floor dances and VIP dances.
