Get there soon after opening and avoid the valet fee. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon about 30 minutes after opening and parked in the lot for free before the valet guys arrived and set up. Other nitty-gritty facts: $10 floor dances, $5 cover, $5 Miller Lites, and no bathroom attendant early on a Sunday afternoon. The music is mostly hardcore rap, and it's freakin' loud. There were probably about 25 girls there when I arrived, which is incredible (to me) for so soon after opening on a Sunday. When I was there, the mix was mostly white women, with a good number of black women and a helping of older Hispanic women working. The day shift crowd profile is equally diverse. White, black, old and young. There was even a group of young Asian guys there taking in Atlanta's finest!

A bunch of the girls were wearing the "under 21 florescent orange 'club bracelets'," so if you like 'em young there were plenty to pick from. A bunch of the young girls I talked to had only been dancing there for a few months, which can be problematic and make for a less-exhilarating dance if they haven't been properly broken in. For all you perverts to come, I did my part and hopefully they will be properly trained for you when you arrive! Do your part and don't wear jeans!

For you out-of-towners, strip clubs in Atlanta allow smoking, and if you're in Follies at any point after 40 minutes past opening, you'll smell like an ashtray when you leave. That is my only complaint with day shift at Follies. The girls, the dances, and the booze prices are all up my alley and present a damned good value when compared to other cities. Highly recommended.
