In Lexington for a night, a friend and I somewhat randomly chose Platinum Plus over the other options (Cowboys, etc.). Have to say, I was glad we did.

There's a certain type of relatively laid-back club you get in smaller cities that I really like, and this was it. The layout of the club is nothing special, but it's reasonably clean and felt safe, and the staff were friendly enough. (I guess my biggest knock would be that the DJ was trying a bit too hard to be the star of the show.)

But most importantly, the dancers make for a good experience by giving just the right amount of attention - hanging out at your table, chatting and flirting, not being too pushy, but definitely delivering if you decide to get a dance. I wouldn't describe most of them as flat-out gorgeous, but there were plenty I'd describe as cute, and they skew natural rather than plastic which I prefer. I wound up spending way more time than I expected with one girl, because although she wasn't the hottest among them, she delivered more than I've ever gotten for a $20 dance. Let's just say I was a bit worried a few times when security walked past, but they didn't seem to care.
