I paid my first visit in...

I paid my first visit in years to the Flight Club Thursday night. I was surprised by the lineup of girls. I had expected a parade of bleached blonde stereotypical Barbie dolls with boob jobs. (Try saying that 10 times fast.) That's what I remember from past visits, but this time they were a small minority. Well, the boob job proportion may have been 50/50, but in other respects, there was great variety. A hardcore Barbie fan on pilgrimage might have been sadly disappointed. Not me.

I was a little disappointed, however, that there weren't more knockouts. Out of about 30 girls, I'd rate most in the 5 to 7 range, with maybe 10 girls who were solid 8s but none above that. (I never do number ratings, but somehow it would be wrong not to for this place.) All in all, a good selection. Certainly more 8s than I'm used to seeing. But for a Destination Club where you pay $25 - $45 before any dancer even sees your first dollar ($5 parking/$10 cover/$10 drink/$20 booth), I expect more. At least a few indisputable 9s or 10s. Because, as it stood, there was nothing in this group, quality-wise, I couldn't easily find closer to home for a fraction of the cost. Just more of them. C'mon, this is the goddamn Flight Club! It's supposed to be swarming with beauties! But please, don't bring back the plastic Barbies, thank you.

Of course, my visit wasn't just about rating the girls' looks. I came here to feel them and have them rub their bodies all over mine. Knowing it was a low hustle place, I sat at the bar by the main stage and tipped about seven or eight girls, each time, telling her I'd like a dance when she was free. (That's the only reason to tip a dancer here, since the stage dancing and tipping routine, like at all Detroit clubs, is unbelievably boring.) A couple of them never followed up. A couple more came around and talked for a while, but then got dragged off somewhere. I got dances with four girls, one of whom I bumped into on my way to the men's room. I got two dances each from two girls and one dance each from the other two. All four girls were great on the couches; I just didn't need more than one or two dances. The standout for me was named (I believe) Hanna, a dayshift girl on a rare night gig. Fabulous slim body, heavenly legs, curly shoulder-length brown hair. I told her she looked like a night girl but danced like a day girl.
