I went to DreamGirls last night...

I went to DreamGirls last night for the first time. In fact, it was the first time I'd been to ANY strip joint. Maybe it's just because I'm not as seasoned as some commenters, but I really liked it.

My boyfriend and I were on a date. We'd just been to a burlesque show at Rendezvous and had dinner at List. We were walking back to the car when a random guy handed us about five "get in free (with drink purchase)" cards for DreamGirls. We had nothing else to do for the night, and we were in an adventurous mood, so we went.

When we walked in the door, a very professional bouncer and cashier greeted us. My boyfriend paid $10 for his bottomless drink (non-alcoholic, of course), and I paid absolutely nothing because Thursdays are Ladies' Nights!
