There isn't a lot of choice...

There isn't a lot of choice in Wichita Falls when it comes to strip clubs, so Maximus has been trying to compete with Dallas the last few years instead of the club that will be closed again in a couple of years across town. They have spruced the place up a lot over the last couple of years, but it may be more than Wichita Falls really needs. Ultimately, it's the dancers that decide if the club is worth going to or not, and Maximus has more than it's share of hot women these days. While they look great, there is also a tendency to be a little snobby. It's almost like the posh surroundings have the dancers convinced they really are somewhere high dollar in a metropolis like Dallas instead of being surrounded by the same customers they will be surrounded by next weekend.

The place is a nice, but the decor is a little busy. They almost try too hard. Management is a stickler for the rules, so while they try to give the surroundings a feel of a Dallas club it is still very much Wichita Falls.

If you are young and have expendable money like many of the airmen from Sheppard Air Force Base, you might have a good time. For an old warhorse like me, they place is far too style over substance.
