I decided to stop into Rick's for a weekday late-afternoon visit. Ricks has a relatively large and discreet parking lot. When you enter the establishment a doorman greets you and takes the $20 cover charge. You walk right by the bar so you can grab a drink as you find a seat or you can bypass and wait for a waitress to serve you. The physical club is really nice. Its spacious and clean. The chairs are the high end padded full back with arm rest club chairs. I've been to Rick's before. At night this place is great. On this particular visit I was quite unimpressed by the service. The dayshift was running a skeleton crew. No waitress came to me to ask me for a drink. I had to go to the bar and get my own drinks.

The place was empty 5-6 customers total. There were about 5 girls in the rotation and only one stage was going. One of the girls, god bless her was mid to late forties, overweight and had a bum leg. She limped around the stage and the pole it was sad. One of the remaining four was a 5 a best. The other three were 6s an 7s. Clearly the more attractive girls were taking visits from what appeared to be established clients. I was there for about 90 minutes. Peg leg and the 5 came and asked me for a dance the rest didn't stop by once. One of the cuter girls was texting. No waitress asked me for a drink the entire time I was there. I ended up leaving without getting a single dance. As I walked out the night shift was arriving. Perhaps I could have stayed and had a better experience. The next daytime stop I make will be at Pandora's down the road.
