I decided to go to Platinum...

I decided to go to Platinum Plus Columbia after reading many great reviews and getting some great information from a friend. The reviews and the information sounded great to me so my expectations were high. I picked a rainy Tuesday which led to a bigger crowd than I expected. PP Columbia is a slight challenge to get to, but parking is plentiful and the building is nice inside. I paid a $3 cover and went inside. The club is spacious and nice. Music is loud. My mixed drink was $7.50, higher than I expected, but it was before happy hour (starts at 4). I received change in $2 bills from each, I hate $2 bills. I used them as tips and to pay for additional drinks.

Dancers on the stage went for 3 songs, and there was at least a song break between each dancer. Some dancers went to a small stage near the bar for a second set, but not all seemed to do that.

In total there were about 12 dancers. Two sat at the bar and played with their cell phones for most of the time I was there (2 hrs). The dancers were a good mix of old, young, and body styles. I think two were A.A., one was from Honduras and the remaining were white.

Dancers were friendly, but I was clearly not as good a negotiator as most on the board. I got 2 for $35 from one dancer, $2 for $40 from one, and none of the rest were giving me any deal at all. I also was offered extras from one dancer, but they were expensive. Two went for the Champagne room upsell, but both were talking $500 plus in total. I am weak when in a strip club but not that weak.

In the end, I was disappointed in the mileage, but will go back. I liked the dancers and maybe just did not hit the right day or the right dancer.
