I stopped by Stars on a Wednesday afternoon. Since my last visit the only thing that I could tell was different was that the stage lighting was lower. Now you have to strain to see the girls in the darkness. Of course every few minutes a bright white strobe would go off, making me see red dots for awhile. So, Stars still has remarkably attractive dancers, but now in addition to the uncomfortably loud music, you have to deal with a lighting system that seems designed to make it difficult to see.

Now here is an idea for management: why not try to create a pleasant atmosphere that will make patrons want to stay longer and spend more money? Really, is that such a radical concept? As for me, I had one drink and left, and I'm in no hurry to return.
