Thursday and I swing over to Flamingo to see if there is anyone there. It's a disaster. Nothing but lardos. Big, I mean big! So I bail out of there, having paid $20 to find out. And I head up the road to Sahara. This is, after all, a review of Sahara, not Flamingo. After paying my initial cover charge fee, I walk through the curtains. It is pretty dark. I had forgotten how dark this club is. I could see (eventually) various "dancers" in the booths with obviously not very picky customers. To each his own. For me, they are just too "big." It's the Flamingo all over again. Where are all the young slender dancers? I didn't take a seat, because then I would have to buy "a drink." So I stood at some convenient vantage points and checked the situation out. Same horror story as down the road. Nobody under 180 pounds in the whole place. So I beat a hasty retreat out the side exit. That is, the one opposite the entrance. Zero for two in Anaheim on a Thursday night. Clubs, that is. Thirty bucks and really nothing for it. And I refuse to throw away good money after bad.
