I have never had the chance to visit the Industrial Strip ("IS") before. Given it's Hammond location, I had concern that the club would be hard, but it's actually hard to miss given it's sign and lighting. The main room is smallish, but clean and well lighted (by club standards). Front of house staff, and the wait staff, were all very friendly. The place had a more relaxed vibe than some places, particularly on the up-sell. While places like the Admiral seem to have additional charges left and right, at IS you pay the cover, buy your soft drink, and you don't have to spend another penny.<br>

Of course, you will spend another penny, because you go to the IS for the dances. There is always a dancer on stage, but as others have commented, it's not about the stage shows at the IS, so if that's what you're looking for, IS isn't for you. Stage shows are somewhat mechanical, with the crowd only half paying attention. There are dancers pushing private lap dances. Here, I found the sales pitch to be soft; dancers approach but aren't pushy and all made an effort to engage in small talk before pushing the dance. This is likely the case because most of the customers appear to have come for the private dances, so there is little need for the dancers to push them. There were eight other customers there when I visited and more than half went back for private shows. <br>

As for the private dances, the doorman was quick to explain that private lap dances at the IS are full nude and high contact. The dances were as advertised. Of the dances I had each would be considered very high mileage by Chicago-area standards. I'd compare the mileage to that of Las Vegas clubs than Chicago clubs; on occasion I've had similar contact at the Admiral, but as often as not they're selling air dances at the Admiral. No so here. I do not know if IS is a place where extras may be available. However, at IS only the groin is off limits, and dancers applying that standard in certain Chicago-area clubs would be considered "extras girls." As always, your mileage may vary. <br>
