The Gold Club is a stone's throw away from the San Francisco Convention Center, so it provides a good mix of business types and locals. Their lunch buffet is one of the best deals in the Financial District. It is out till around 2pm and free with admission, which is $5 during the day. The buffet has a basic tossed salad, some side dishes, two meat entrees, a vegetarian entree and a few desert items. I particularly enjoyed the potatoes and steamed vegetables; it was surprisingly healthy food for a club. <br>

As for the girls, they are pretty high quality for a dayshift. There were maybe a dozen girls on shift with one main stage and a side stage. They would stay in their bikini on the side stage, but they would go topless for the second song on the main stage. I believe the rule is no touching on stage when topless, but they would rub their bikini clad body against generous tippers. Tame one-way contact dances on the main floor are $20. I believe there is a slight premium for songs in the semi-private area, but do not expect high mileage. There were also a surprisingly high number of female customers, but none of them got too crazy or close to any form of undress.
