This review will cover two visits....

This review will cover two visits. One on a Tuesday evening, and the other on a Wednesday night. It really bothers me to write this review as the club has undergone a significant change. First off, what hasn't changed. The physical location, right off the highway is excellent. The physical structure of the club is posh. It is a little too dark for my taste, but very nice. It is also a bit expensive, but given the first two points that is OK. Now let's talk about what has changed. When I walked in I immediately noticed that NONE of my old favorites were there, in fact I only saw one dancer that I remembered having been there before. The next change was the music. It was very different from what was playing on all of my past visits. The next change was the crowd, on both nights I was the only single female in the club, and there was only one couple either night. During past visits, there were always tons of couples and often groups of single women. Other crowd changes went with the dancer changes, and the music changes. The bottom line is this--I personally do not believe that the "urbanization" of this club in every way is going to be a positive for its' continued success. It just doesn't seem to match what the club has always tried to be. It is really sad that after enjoying this club for years I need to find a new "go-to" club when I visit RTP.
