Having tried the nearby Palomino a couple of years back, I thought, why not Chicas Bonitas? Much better value in North LV, as opposed to downtown, says my host. That's probably true; it seems that what you see is what you get in NLV. So first impressions: By the standards of most urban clubs, CB is a dive. By Vegas standards (Hollywood Cowboy Tacky), it's a disaster; it's just tired. There's a neighborhood look to it, if your neighborhood is the seamier parts of Detroit or perhaps Kabul. (Despite that, I felt reasonably safe, although I was gone by sundown.) The front of the club is overbright, with some of the least comfortable furniture I've ever tried to sit in. The rear of the club, where private dances take place, is behind a curtain, with a bench running along the wall and not much to provide privacy.<br>

Female talent was entirely Hispanic or African American, which is fine with me, but far too many of the dancers were well past 30 and overweight. The latter is not fine with me. I was approached frequently, probably by every woman in the building, but I made it clear that I like to enjoy my drink and consider my options before investing, so people tended not to come back more than once until I beckoned to an Hispanic dancer who suited my taste for slimmer.<br>

There followed one of the most hands-on PDs I've ever experienced with my own clothes on. Virtually no warmup; she was in my lap and fondling my junk within seconds. No, not "fondling" -- there was nothing gentle about it. Quite honestly, there was nothing erotic about it, either, even though my own hands were encouraged to roam pretty much wherever. I stayed for two dances ($25/ea) just to be polite, made my excuses, and departed. Not a great evening.
