As with many of the Mannhattan...

As with many of the Mannhattan clubs, you can usually get a free admission card for Diamonds. They were handing them out right in front of the door when I walked by. Once in the door, there is a small bar area. Then you have to go through a set of double doors to get to the main area. The bartnder was the hottest one in the entire place. Beers were $5 during happy hour (but you had to buy two). Once you walk to the main dance area, you are quickly attacked by the vultures! I barely made it through the door when I had a dancer on me and pushing for a lap dance. I took one but was told I could not touch her unless we went to a private room. Private room rate started at $160 for 10 minutes...and went up from there. Seemed like a rip off to me. After reading some other reviews, it appears there are plenty of extras available once in the private rooms but I never made it that far. I was out of Diamond's pretty quickly as I was not as comfortable in there as in some of the other NYC clubs.
