I found myself in town with some coworkers this past Monday, one of whom suggested that we have some steaks at an "interesting place." So, after checking into our hotel, we headed off in search of food and ballet.
We each paid a $14 cover, rather than going for the membership deal, which I didn't get details on, not being in the RDU area very often. The place is fairly large, rooms near the entry with a pool table and another that appeared to be for dining. But why wouldn't you eat at a table out in front of the main stage, like we did, giving dollar tips for each dancer, who would come down staircases built into the stage and do a little grind for your hard-earned bucks. Food was good, first round of drinks was a little bit weak, but strengthened up through the evening. Waitress service was prompt and attentive.
When we first arrived, a bit before 9, the place seemed nearly deserted, with a few regulars sitting at tables in the back, each with a dancer. There appeared to be no more than 8-10 dancers in the whole place. By the time we left, just before midnight, things had picked up some. Of course, we quickly discovered that they send all their dancers streaming onto the floor every hour for the 2-1 dance specials (2 private dances in the back on a comfy couch for $30). The first round happened while we were waiting for food, so we didn't partake. The ladies took no quite well, and everyone there was most friendly. A side note on Men's Club is that most of the women there are natural, with one or two exceptions.
