Clubs go through cycles. The last several times I had been to Pony I had been very disappointed. This time, I was pleased to see some higher quality dancers. It is not quite where it was a few years ago, but it has improved from 2013. The club environment seems to have lighten up a bit as well... more laughing. The Pony has always had an air of seriousness to me, but that was noticeably different this visit. I thought the dancers had moved from the 5-8 range to the 6-9 range. The club is always well-appointed. One knock on this club has always been the sterile VIP. That hasn't changed. I bought the 2-$40 lap dances from an 8 with good dance skills. Absolutely zero added value and the bouncer always walks by at least once. I always feel like the dancers are nervous in the VIP there. Solid club, nice girls, low value, but reasonable and predictable experience.
