Went here last night and all I can really say is 'wow.' I'd forgotten how sterile DC strip clubs can be. Camelot is nice enough. The best thing about it is the fact it's convenient to DuPont Circle Bars and the drinks, albeit watered down, don't cost an arm and a leg. My friend and I were seated upstairs and watched 4 or 4 dances. Essentially, there is a small stage where girls come on, do their thing and then go around the room for tips. Two of the three girls we saw were hot - both white girls, one may have been Russian. You got to see a breast here a thigh there, but that was pretty much it. In the hour or so we were there, I didn't see any lap dances. I was told by our waitress that there really is no such thing as a lapdance (or contact!) in DC. A few girls were sitting talking with what looked like regular customers on the perimeter of the state. In short - if you want to go watch some cute girls with good bodies dance - Camelot is okay. But if you don't go there frequently and are seeking to chat the girls up or want to get some friction on - this place is to be stayed away from. Yeah, it might be DC's finest, but that is really not saying much. We enjoyed it, for what it's worth. But I doubt your average club guy will.
