I can't argue with the fun...

I can't argue with the fun atmosphere at this club on the weekends. Two things may keep me from returning, 1. the long, long lines to get a drink and 2. the price of the private dances. This is definitely the place you want to come during a night out with your friends, both male and female, but not the place if you desire a more intimate experience. <br>

On this evening, I arrived at the end of a large fight that started inside the club and continued outside. As the parties were dispersing, tears were being shed, and blood was being cleansed from the mouths of those involved, I wondered if I should go in. Since my days on 6th St. in Austin, I've never been a fan of drunken brawls. I asked and was assured inside would be safe. Luckily, I arrived just as the crowd was growing and was 2nd in line to get my drink. $8.00 for a run-of-the-mill whiskey was too steep. That price ought be reserved for $70/bottle stuff...not $39/bottle local stuff, IMO.<br>

As usual, seating was tough to find. I found a single empty chair and pulled it to the wall near the door to the outside eating area. The four occupying the bench/table nearest me left to tip at the stage, where one left his wallet and lighter. I snatched the items and the seat was quickly filled by 4 obviously high mid-20 hipsters. I asked the one nearest to me to save my chair while I delivered the wallet to the DJ. The patron kicked my chair and said, "Fuck You. No saving seats." I went to the DJ, explained the scenario, and hoped he would announce the wallet. I remained, near to keep an eye, but he never made an announcement. After about 10 minutes, 2 gentlemen approached the DJ asking about a wallet. After some persuasion and eye contact with me, he delivered the wallet and pointed the gentlemen to me. They offered to buy me a drink; I declined. Don't trust the DJ here. Lesson learned.<br>
