Sad to see the end of...

Sad to see the end of an era. Jiggles had it's last weekend open and I never spent so much in a couple of days. Thursday and Friday evening were fairly busy and everybody's excitement turned to sadness and anxiety by Saturday evening. Some of the girls don't know where they will dance and others have solid plans. Jiggles filled a need for a low key place for underage (18-20) girls to start their dancing career without the problems of a minor in a drinking club. Never fancy but always decent and usually a good time to be had. Many girls got their start and some ended their careers there. One or two new girls came in to work and when I asked why they would come in just before they closed the doors they replied that every dancer they knew had worked at Jiggles at one point and they wanted to be part of the club. I know some in Tualatin will be glad to have whatever fast food place takes it's footprint but I will miss the fun and friends I have come to know.
