A casual stop on The Block. Friendly barmaids and dancers. Much better than average music on the juke box - they even had Jimi Hendrix. This makes a big difference to me - I love rock and roll and hate rap, and if I'm gonna spend any time at all in a bar, I want to listen to some decent music while I drink my beer. I was in the Jewel Box on a Sunday afternoon, and only 2 dancers were in attendance...but...both were pretty and eager...pretty eager in fact. I sat with a blonde named Karen, who was lots of fun to talk to - smart, funny - and lots of fun to play with as well. I'd highy recommend her to any readers who stop in. I'm not sure of her schedule beyond Sunday afternoons.
