Stopped in a while back on...
Stopped in a while back on a saturday heading out of Boston. Hadn't been since the club was renovated. It was around 9pm. Was surprised that the club wasn't that busy. $10 cover. Very long bar with seats of each side. Decided to get a drink to start. Was a little put off that the only bartender was talking to another customer at the end for a good 7-8 minutes before she came over. She even looked my way a few times, but didn't seem to mind that I was waiting on her. She seemed a little put off as well. Got my drink and sat by the stage. Ladies were attractive, but not very talkative. Tipped well, but didn't seem to field any interest. No waitress was in sight for a second drink, so had to go back to the bar. Again, had to wait a good 5 minutes for bartender to leave same customer. Not impressed with the bar staff. After getting my second drink, was immediately grabbed by a dancer from behind. There was no "hello" or "what's your name". She said "either buy me a drink and take me to private or let's just go to private right now". I was up for at as I hadn't been approached and she was an easy 8. Private dances are weird here. Have to pay up front for a specific number of dances, which is given to a bouncer. I you want more than that after starting, you pay the dancer. Dance area has individual booths and lots of mirrors, but very low lighting. Bouncer kept coming back to check what seemed like every 30 seconds. Dance was OK with some grinding and only one way contact. She said I could put my hands on her hips, but kept pushing them away when bouncer came back. After a few times of this, I just stopped touching them. Pre-paid for 3 dances, but wish I only paid for 1. Left after getting the private dance as I was not feeling a good vibe there. It was definitely better a few years ago before the renovation. Probably will not return for a while.
