Diamonds is a smaller strip club...
Diamonds is a smaller strip club in Bangor. With a main stage and, if I remember correctly, 4 satellites, there's always at least one or two girls dancing. The dancers are mildly attractive but only a few can manage any sort of pole tricks beyond walking in a circle around it and some basic spins. The dancers make up for it by interacting well with patrons seated next to the main stage. Unfortunately, the layout of the main stage makes it hard for more than 8 people or so to have "front row" seats. The carpet in there is pretty tacky but the lighting is phenomenal (lasers, strobes, etc..)
The shot girls are unpleasant at best in terms of attractiveness. I would just get drinks at the bar so it wasn't an issue for me. This club has a strange system rigged up that blows freezing cold air. It's poorly made because anyone in the air jet gets blasted by small shards of ice that must have been from water condensing in the unit. These ice shards are a little bigger than grains of sand and feel much colder than typical ice- more along the lines of how cold dry ice is. One of said ice shards froze to my eye immediately on contact, so that was unpleasant. If it was one of the larger chunks, I wouldn't be surprised to see serious damage being done. Don't sit under the jets unless you have a good lawyer and don't mind personal injury lawsuits I suppose.
There's not much to do in Bangor. Because Diamonds is the only strip club, they have no competition. This leads to a lack of effort on their part and no incentive to try to improve the club or do anything fun that would draw in traffic.
