I visited Sapphires this past Thursday...

I visited Sapphires this past Thursday night. First off, they have followed Jaguars/Scores & Treasures lead and now also charge a $30 cover charge, that was very disappointing, when will that insanity end? The club still has got an incredibly sterile ambiance, it's just too large and spread out which really seems to limit any type of energy from building. The quality of the girls was so-so, on a 1-10 scale I'd put them in the 6-9 range with most around a 7 (although they did have a few stunners). Dances on the main floor were okay, touching was encouraged (to a degree), it was much better in the VIP room. I again found the VIP experience to be a very enjoyable one, large couches, unobtrusive bouncers (i.e. non-existant), $200 for 1/2 hour, $400 for an hour (they do charge you a $50 bar tab for each 1/2 hour though). I spent some quality time with a beautiful asian girl who claims to have been in Playboy (who knows? she did have a very convincing story though). Good club, not the best in town, but still worth a visit.
