First visit to a downtown club, and I was not impressed. It was so dark inside, that it was difficult to find a chair to sit in. The beverages were served in paper cups, and my server was possibly one of the most awkward people ever. The girls dancing were nice to look at, but nothing special. I was one of the only patrons in the club at the time, and the girls would come up and almost recite a wrote speech "Hi , I'm . You having fun? Good, you want a private dance?" and when I said no or later, they were off. Now don't get me wrong, I completely understand, private dances are where the money is, but part of what I love about Rick's is that the dancers are willing to hang out and chat a bit if they have nothing else to do. Here they were all business, if you weren't interested in an immediate private, you weren't worth their time. All in all, the experience was not unpleasant, but I probably won't be returning any time soon. My money and time are much better spent driving up to Lake City to Dreamgirls at Rick's
