I've been to Gold Club over...

I've been to Gold Club over the last few years while in Philly for work. It's never been extraordinary, nor disappointing. This review is based on my latest visit(s) today. <br>

After our last meeting, I was walking from Walnut to Chestnut and wanted to see what the Gold Club was like after the renovations. I didn't have much time, but I bought a cocktail, tipped a couple of dancers, hung out with Gem and the bespectacled bartender (hot by the way, told me she was dancing the next day) and talked about retro records, vintage cartoons, shows, etc. I chatted with a couple of other dancers, and it was fun.<br>

Anyway, went to the bank, pulled a few notes and I retuned around 11:00 pm and it was completely different. I wanted to start a tab to keep the cash for the dancers... First of all, to start a tab, they now require your cc, DL, (not unusual) but then the bartender said there would be a 5% fee attached to that. Think about that. What kind of Bull is that? On top or bottom of the tip?<br>
