The Club has new management, or...

The Club has new management, or at the least, a new name. The last time that I was here was about 3 years ago when there were plenty of young hardbodies who were working for "tips and tips alone". This time, there were a few of the old veterans, and the newbies are far from hardbodies. The management seem to be more relaxed although the doorman made it clear to me that the nice-looking young lady who was taking door-entry monies was armed. Anyway, the dancers were all either older or just young and fluffy - a bit too fluffy for my tastes. Apparently, the SC scene is Memphis has been severely affected by the new laws. The waitress was helpful, but still hustling. The worse looking of the girls will ask for a drink or a tip, as if here mere presence is tip-worthy and they get pissed when you decline. Oh Well. I did not get any dances as there were no girls that struck my fancy. I was there one night to watch the Heat vs Pacers and on the following Saturday expecting the talent level to increase. I was disappointed. It may have just been a slow night. Cover was 10 on the weekday and 15 on the weekend.
