I...
I started this day at the Criket but after I had lunch the mood in the room was so flat that I left. On my home I thought I'd check out this place. Good thing I ate first as they have no kitchen and no food options other than chips and micro-wave pizza. It was $5.00 to enter and $5.00 to get to the V.I.P. I got a coke for $6.50 and sat at the bar. I don't know why this place is called Henry the Eighth but the black and white checked floor idea did start at Hampstead Heath which was one of the old Tudor palaces. The room is dark with lots of mirrors. There was one bartender (kinda' cute) and one waitress (kinda' not). There were only four dancers on duty 3 white and one A/A. Quality was all around a 6. I took the blonde with the bolt-ons back to the V.I.P. just to see the lay out. One little chair in a curtained booth but reasonably private. She gave a good two way dance and I asked about extras without offering money. I was told that she didn't do anything but Hj's and asked me if all the other girls did "that stuff". This girl was no ingénue but I think she thought I was newbie as I was dressed for work and still had a tie on. Dances are $20.00 and 2/for $20.00 on Tuesdays. On my way out a got a pass for free admission to Bogarts, Henrys, or Johns Hot spot. They do allow smoking at Henry's so that is a definite no go, Johns Hot Spot is a divier dive then Bogarts and Bogarts is no garden of Eden so I guess I am still stuck with the Criket until I save up for the F/C.
