[I had a chance to visit a few clubs on my recent trip to Montreal and none of the clubs compared to the premier gentlemen's clubs in the United States. What I found unique with each club in Montreal is that the door guys ALL expect a tip to walk you into the club even if you are sitting at the bar (maybe they do not earn an hourly wage from the club). I don't care about a few bucks but I don't like having to tip someone that really isn't providing me with any kind of service. Additionally, none of these clubs is really high-end and none serve food like you find at most premier clubs.]<br>

Strolling up St. Catherine Street I decided to stop into Club Super Sex. Up some stairs and to the left you enter a pretty dumpy club. After the $5 door fee and the mandatory tip for the door guy, I grabbed a drink at the bar and began to take in the scenery. There are two stage areas on the main level one of which wasn't being used. Of all the places I visited in Montreal, this club was probably the worst for atmosphere and talent. I was hit-up repeatedly by dancers one after the other but did not find one remotely desireable. Upon turning down a young black dancer, I was approached by a drunk young kid and confronted with why I had turned her down. Since I was sitting down, I don't think this punk understood that I was twice his size and could quickly end his evening. His girlfriend pulled him away and apologized but where was the door guy that I had just tipped??? Should customers be harassed by drunk kids when they are just sitting have a drink?<br>

Primarily out of curiosity, I took the best girl I could find upstairs to check out the dance area. The upstairs to this club is sort of weird. Similar to Chez Paree, there are little partitions where the dances are $15. For a $20 fee and $20 per dance you get a little more space with a door that has a glass window. They have another options which is a $25 fee and $25 per dance. I opted for the $20 option and was actually surprised that my girl was better looking in the bright lighting upstairs than she was in the darker area downstairs. Unfortunately she was much drunker than I expected and after one dance was struggling to keep it together. After two dances I kicked her to the curb and left the club. Overall this club is pretty trashy and not worth going back to.
