Off peak night visit hit the sweet spot of being relaxing, yet not boring. Some highlights:
ORIENTATION: Washington Ave. is more of an industrial area north of the airport, lined with small businesses, some cheap motels, convenience stores, an occasional used car lot. Against this background in this night hour, the exterior lighting of "Dancers" doesn't really stand out. I could see someone missing the left turn into club. So, if you're coming northbound on 465, it is ~2.1 miles west of exit ramp. Parking lot seems adequate for all but overflowing peak nights. Cover charge was $5, called mixed drink was $7.50.
ATMOSPHERE: I spot fellow tuscler racejeff at floor seating away from stage. I'd peg club as 1/5 full, no problem getting a seat anywhere. While nobody will mistake this for a library, DJ was low key, announcing dancers names on stage. No extraneous patter, or "I wanna hear some fu#^ing n-o-o-i-i-se"! Conversation wasn't too chalenging. Two of three stages were constantly used, though sometimes new rotations were late at times. Wait staff with 3 different waitresses were attentive without being pushy- never a "half empty" glass here. I noticed 2 wall booths in use, apparently occupied by regulars with multiple dancers. Apparently, those booths can be rented, but I didn't bother to inquire. This was transition hour- I made eye contact with an arriving dancer in "civilian" garb, she came by our table moments later. Dancers aren't pushy here, so one has to be somewhat proactive. Stageside tipping interaction/contact was solid here.
