A short walk from downtown, Club Rouge is worth the walk. I have visited this club on two separate trips to Portland and have not been disappointed.<br>

The girls are pretty, which from my perspective means they are young, healthy and have a variety of body types. No anorexic, fat or heavily tattooed/pierced girls were present on either of my visits. All of the dancers were professional and low pressure. The floor routine was standard and by the second or third song the dancers were fully nude, and left you in no doubt they were a female of the species. The bouncer was also very helpful, so much so that I gave him a tip as well - not a bad guy to make friends with.<br>

I like the "standard" floor setup witch is an elevated stage with two attached circular dance areas that both include the "pole". You can set on the edge of the arenas to tip, or on tables on the outer perimeter of the room. The lighting is subdued in the club, except for the stage which is my personal preference. The "private" dance areas are in a curtained off space towards the back, which means you will have some semblance of privacy. Remember to place a coaster over your drink if you leave for a private dance - the universal signal for "I'll be back, please don't take my seat".<br>
