spontaneous trip to Silver Dollar recently yielded good results. The bar is clean and sizable, the $3 cover isn't too bad. i really dig the feel, somewhat reminiscent of a classic roadhouse, but without the grime and the fights. Mondays are a great time to go, as there are 25-cent beers from 8-10 - and $1 beers from 10-midnight.<br>

The girls are generally young and have tight bodies, some talented performers around the pole. the dancers are friendly without getting pushy - in fact some of them should probably work harder to get clients into the VIP room, but i personally prefer a club that is hands-off rather than too aggressive.<br>

the dances are done in a VIP room that is open but sectioned off reasonably well. i chose Daisy for a few dances, and she was pretty spectacular - she gets into it and gives you your money's worth. i got the feeling that more might be available with some conversation (and, of course, for a price, but didn't push the envelope in that regard. perhaps i'll explore it on a return visit!<br>
