Diamonds Cabaret is one of the nicer, if not the nicest club in the Dayton area. By nicest, I mean most upscale. The club is located in a really safe area, surrounded by restaurants, bars, businesses, etc. The outside of the club is very well kept and clean. Doorman in tuxedos greet you at the door. One of the biggest hassles with Diamonds is needing a membership to enter the club, if you don’t have a membership you need to fill out an application, but once you do that the first time, follow on visits just require paying a cover and showing your membership card. There is no alcohol sold at the club, but you can bring your own. Waitresses bring buckets of ice to keep your beers cold, or you can buy a variety of soda and juices to mix with the harder stuff. The club is very dark when you enter, but they have a top notch light show during the dancers’ performances. Depending on the evening (weekdays vs. weekends), there are anywhere from 1 to 4 active stages. 2 stages are located on the lower level and an additional 2 smaller stages on the upper level. The upper level also contains a series of skyboxes and a back room where private dances are performed. Skyboxes are more expensive but also more private, and cost depends on length. The dancers regularly offer 2 for 1s or you can buy 15 or 30 min sessions.
As for the dancers it is somewhat hit and miss for weekdays (Sun to Thur), but I have been impressed with the Friday and Saturday lineups. As opposed to other clubs in the area, I am impressed with the looks of the majority of the dancers, while 2-3 might not be my type. At others places in Dayton, I am lucky to find 1 or 2 girls that I think are worth getting private dances from. The biggest issue with Fridays and Saturdays are that the club is very busy, sometimes requiring long waits at the door, and once in there is no where to sit. Most of the clientele on weekends are younger people (20’s to 30’s), especially later in the night as Diamonds is open beyond the time that the normal bars close. This also means the girls have plenty of guys to choose from and are less likely to sit and chat unless they know you are good for a private dance later. This why I prefer weekday nights, the club is kind of slow and the girls are more likely to get to know you a little better before asking for a dance. But with the weekday roster being reduced there are less “great looking†dancers on shift. Regardless of the night, the club has a strict no touching policy, but I have always enjoyed the quality of the dances I received at Diamonds. The girls have always been willing to show what they got as long as you ask nicely, and tip generously. Overall I really like Diamonds Cabaret and would recommend it to anyone looking for a better looking and safer club without the added extras you may receive at less reputable clubs in the area.
