The Landing Strip is definitely returning to its glory of yesteryear. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon. Park on street and leave your coat in the car to avoid valet and coat-check fees that can be better applied to the entertainers. Drinks are expensive but there is no pressure to buy. On the day of my visit the dancer to patron ratio was 2.5. As such, the girls clustered with each other. However, it didn't take much to attract attention. Pay for your first drink with a c-note, leave a generous tip and the word gets around. Interestingly, there appears to be a rule among the girls wherein the oldest get first dibs on a new visitor. Be patient and the finer younger ones will eventually make their way to you. Unlike many of the local establishments there is no fees to the house for the private dance areas and no daytime entrance fee. As such, paying $25 per dance is quite acceptable. Dances will vary depending on the provider; seems like there is no lower and no upper limit.
