I visited Rick's Saloon (Rick's Sports Saloon) on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the wee hours of Friday night (Saturday morning). Desite the name, it is a go-go bar, but it does have a good number of televisions showing sports.
My visit was during the Jazz and Heritage Festival. It did not seem that other festival attendees were at Rick's. There were few patrons and only a few dancers.
Note that a block away is Rick's Cabaret, a different, larger club that is also owned by the company Rick's Cabaret LLC (NASDAQ: RICK). Both are operated by the same local company. Most of the employees think the operator is the owner.
The club is small compared to Rick's Cabaret in New York City. It is pleasant, clean, and comfortable (unlike the Bourbon Street scene outside it). There was no cover charge.
There is a full liquor bar. Drinks were tasty and not too expensive. There are craft beers on tap.
