Stopped by around 8 on a...

Stopped by around 8 on a Monday night. The club is the same as usual. Mandatory valet of $7, $10 cover, and a booth charge of $20 if you chose. On this night, it was extremely slow. The entire downstairs area (the main part of the club) had 1 table with customers and a few by the bar. I went to the upstairs bar figuring it would be busier...nope. 2 people up there. I asked around to find out if there was a problem like a raid or something...nope. A waitress I recognize just said it's been really slow lately. <br>

So I grab a beer and sit down. I figure on a slow night bargains could be had. I was wrong. There were probably 12 or so dancers on staff. 2 were solid 9's, the rest, meh. I was approached by 3 or 4 dancers who seemed depressed at how slow it was. Nobody really offered up much. Just a stale mood in the air. A early 20's brunette sat down and seemed promising but after talking she was relatively new and didn't really seem comfortable. Not my type. I stayed til about 10:30, had a few beers, hoping the mood would change or some late arrivals would spice up the night....nope. <br>

Pretty much a waste of time, although I really didn't spend much other than cover and a few beers. I guess it's better than getting stuck with a ROB. Still, had money to spend and nobody wanted it. I'll be back, but maybe not so early in the week.
