Went back to MDS on a...

Went back to MDS on a Friday night two weeks ago with the SO. I hadn't been in the evening in quite some time. I can see the club is showing its age, though it holds up fairly well with the layout, lights, sound. Weak spots seem to be the girls, not top of the food chain, though most were fairly pleasant enough, with a few hotties in the mix. Only one approached us, and it was not someone the SO was interested in, though she seemed to enjoy her dance for another woman just in front of us a bit later. Afterward, the dancer tried again my girl turned her down, again. I am not sure why, she was a good dancer, and nice in her approach. You never know with women what will trip their trigger, and what shuts them down. I think it was her perception that the place was not its former glory (she hadn't been in many years) and the music had changed quite a bit, not to her liking. Fair enough. I am sure they don't have her in mind. That said, we were one of at least 8 couples I spotted that evening. Maybe they should consider this and start working toward doing something for couples. Like letting them in at half price. We drink twice as much as a single guy!

Speaking of drinks, our first order was totally screwed up. Not sure if it was the waitress or the bartender. Later drinks were fine, if not a bit short. We ran a tab, not sure why they don't do the "tab" card anymore, keeping the others at bay.

So, no dances this evening, thus I cant recommend anyone. A few hot girls (depends on your taste). Mixed up drink order. Good sound, bad music, good lights, didn't check out VIP. And they charged us $7 each to get in. $14 if we wanted VIP. I doubt "we" will ever be back. I might try it for lunch again, as i remember a hot girl there at lunch, but its going to be hard to compete with The Gold Club!
