Work was slow this particular afternoon so I decided to try out Leather and Lace Southend. It had been at least a year since my previous visit so I was excited to see how things are. This club sits right on the very busy South Blvd and does not provide any privacy when entering. Second, from the outside things do not look that great. It's a small club, probably about the same size as the one in University with similar arrangements. The parking is safe. The bartender is a super cool Asian who always makes you feel right at home. There is only one stage and during the daytime most girls are just doing lap dances instead of stage rotation. There is also a pool table right below the bar. The place kind of has a neighborhood bar feel to it as everyone seemed to know everyone that day. It was pretty cool actually. Ok, so the girls are what matter. I counted 7 girls dancing. 5 white and 2 black. They ranged from a 3 to a 7 with 5's and 6's being the norm. I spent the entirety of my dances with the blonde 7. The absolute best thing about this place is how far your money goes! All dances are 5 bucks and are generally full contact, at least during the day. Hands seemed free to roam provided you were respectful. They do have a small little VIP are with a leather couch that I did not try. The dances are 20 bucks. I personally don't see how it could be much better than the floor because it is not very private. All in all it's worth a visit if nearby. It's going to be hit or miss but if the right dancer is there you will have a good time and not break the bank in the process. Honestly, my biggest complaint is the lack of privacy upon entering and leaving.
