I went to Gentlemen's Club 10...
I went to Gentlemen's Club 10 to watch Bridget the Midget when she was in town. I believe it was April 26th when I went. I was thumbing through the local entertainment weekly and said to myself "Eh, what the hell, I got to check this out." Cover was $5 ($20 vs $15) more than usual. I didn't get an advanced ticket to save that additional $5, but they were offering them earlier in the week. When I was getting wanted and searched, she happened to walk by with her bodyguard. I suppose she wanted to go outside or something.
As for the show, I'd say it really isn't worth it. They promoted her show saying it was amazing and that you'd basically see thing that were crazy. I just didn't get it. She came on stage for her 2nd show and just walked around. She only got topless and didn't do much other than that. That isn't to be critical of her small stature or that I expected a full on flame, oil or candle wax show, but it was definitely lacking.
As for the other girls, it seems that since the new manager, who happened to be the old manager along with someone else before that 'someone else' got booted, seems to have improved. I don't know if the dancers were offering extras in the back and that's why the other guy lost his fight to keep the club, but there are a lot of dancers that used to be there that don't seem to be there now. Like I wrote, it seems to be a bit classier than in the past. One drawback is the price of the dances. There used to be some deals if you got multiples and/or 30 min or 1 hr dances, but they're gone now. It's basically $20 a song, which doesn't necessarily equate to the time you paid for based on some songs being much less than 4 or 5 minutes. If the dancers asks what song you like, lead them to select longer songs. ha ha
