Devils Point is an experience; that's...
Devils Point is an experience; that's perhaps the best way to put it. I would classify it as closer to a cross between a strip club and burlesque, rather than just your standard strip club fare, but more on that later. The club itself is pretty central in Portland; the neighborhood itself is relatively fine and easy to get to. Nice bar, stage and seating are set up well and are roomy enough for a Saturday night audience to enjoy the show. Affordable drinks, as well. As others have mentioned, it has a very alternative, rock-and-roll feel, which pervades the music and the girls as well. Great music if you're a rock fan.
The girls themselves are a cut above. As I mentioned above, this is more of a cross between burlesque and a strip club, so if you're looking to get busy in the VIP, this probably isn't your joint. But if you're just there for a few drinks and to watch some gorgeous, Suicide Girl-type girls with honest-to-goodness talent fire up the crowd and put on a show (we're talking fire shows, skates, karaoke, the whole deal) this is worth checking out. Girls are solid 8s and 9s across the board, more of the athletic type, and really know how to move and get a crowd going. Dances are available in a side room but are pretty low mileage. One dancer in particular (Piper) is pretty much the stereotypical cute girl next door in every way and puts on a great stage show - keep an eye out for her.
All in all, solid club if you're just in the mood to sit back and enjoy a show. If you're looking for something more than that, try elsewhere.
