Made my first trip to NYC...

Made my first trip to NYC recently and had to check out a few of the clubs while in town. I knew going into it, having read the reviews here on tuscl, that NYC was not going to be a place full of high-contact clubs. Still, what would a trip to the Big Apple be without a trip to a few SCs. I visited three clubs while in town and my first visit was to Flashdancers. The other two were Stiletto and Gallaghers (see separate reviews). I tried to attend a fourth club, VIP Club, but it was closed on a Sunday evening and I didn't try it again.

Flashdancers location is perfect..about a block from the heart of Times Square, almost directly across the street from where David Letterman tapes his show on Broadway. One thing about the clubs in NYC, just like everything in NYC, it's expensive. $20 cover (unfortunately I didn't have a half-off coupon that is plentiful in magazines around town...make sure you get one). A domestic bottled beer was $9. I heard a few other people order mixed drinks which ranged from $15 - $20. Damn! That's at least three times as expensive as the drinks in the clubs from my home state of Florida.

The girls ranged from 6-8. No knockouts on a Friday night but no dogs either. Topless only. Had several girls approach. Lots of Eastern European and Russian girls. Most just gave me the "wanna dance" line. But some actually asked where I was from and why I was in town. I guess there aren't many locals that frequent this place given its location so they are used to the majority of patrons being visitors from out of town.
