Dancer has quickly been becoming one...
Dancer has quickly been becoming one of my favorite clubs to visit. The club itself is in good shape and you get a decent view of the stages from pretty much wherever you sit on the floor. It has a more contemporary decor and feel in its design compared to other Indy clubs. There are booths against the side of the wall, which rent for $10 and the waitresses are quick to ask you to move if you sit there accidentally without paying. The drinks are a bit expensive, but what do you expect, the waitresses have been generally friendly though.
The atmosphere of the club is more laid back than say Brad's, which tends to get packed and squeezed whereas here even when the place if full, you can sit back back and relax. The last time I went was with a group of co-workers with a mix of male and female. The dancers gave the girls lot of attention, pulling them on stage and involving them in the fun. The couch dances are $20 per song, and at least the girl I had worked for the money both in effort and personality. She made the experience fun and not just a thanks for the money time. There was one asian dancer who was working hard on the sell for private dances, she put the effort in, but wasn't my type. Most other girls accepted if you said no and moved on, but this one chick just kept trying until I came up with a excuse that finally worked with her.
There were 3 stages going and there is an air of anonymity and emphasis on privacy that should make you feel welcome overall in the club. The place is busy enough so it is fun, but does not go overboard. It has become my default, well where should we go tonight place if the debate of what club to visit comes up.
