I have to question the validity...

I have to question the validity of the previous review of May 15th. Jen's has been closed since at least April 30th. As to if and when it will reopen the rumours are running rampant. Jen's owner also owns Club1245 which used to close for the winter and would reopen during the spring and summer but it has remained closed for at least a year now and it appears that it won't reopen. I don't think it's officially closed for good yet but it's starting to look like Jen's might join Club1245 on the permanently shuttered list. <br>

Original Jen's rumors were that Cy the owner attended an out of town funeral and closed the club for a couple days because he didn't trust anyone to operate it with him gone. Other rumors are that he closed because of LEA heat from frequent drug raids as Jen's is a noted hangout for Akron's thug drug dealers and many of the dancers are known users. <br>

I for one hope that Jen's reopens. It was a dive full of skanks and low lifes but there was always the possibility of finding a hot gem of a dancer there.
