Stopped by the Top Hat on...

Stopped by the Top Hat on a Monday evening twice. Once at around 5:30 and again at about 8:30. No cover on the first visit and the manager gave me a pass to use on my return trip. Only two dancers in the club during my early visit. One named Shea who was probably an 8 and another larger girl. The club had less than 10 patrons at the time and they were all locals who were chatting up the girls. I ordered a vodka on the rocks - $4.00 - and it wasn't cut! <br>

I spoke to the manager who said that this club is owned by the same people that own Showtime a short distance away and Fantasyland West which is about 12 miles west near Bucyrus. He said that he usually has 5 to 6 girls on the day shift but he had trouble getting them to come to work this particular day. He mentioned that the club gets going at around 8:00.<br>

I returned at about 8:30 to find only one girl dancing and perhaps 3 guys in the club. Depressing. My vodka this time was $5.00 (are you kidding me??) Perhaps it was because this was a Monday night? Despite the low drink prices, I decided to leave. <br>
