Back to old faithful...haven't been to...

Back to old faithful...haven't been to Club 31 in sometime but figured it would be worth the visit again since the weather is getting warm and my friend and I needed to get the motorcycles out of the garage. Anyways, the place is just as I had remembered it. A typical dive bar type of presentation from the street, plenty of parking though as opposed to other bars/clubs of this size. Bar is immediately to the left when you walk in, which is where you will pretty much find everyone sitting who is in attendance. On the far end of the room from where you enter is the dance floor with bench seating surrounding it. There are several small curtained areas for lap dances right off of the dance floor area. The club "manager" actually remembered my friend and I from the last time we were there, which was some time ago, but it was a nice gesture nonetheless. The talent for the evening wasn't anyone that I recognized, which was a good thing since the last dancer I had got to know there wouldn't shut up about her boyfriend that I could care less about hearing. Dancers are average, you will not find anything other than your plain Jane here. Age wise they can be anywhere from mid 20's to "seasoned." I give the monetary value a 7 only because the girls are nice and will take the time to talk to you if you're approachable, and especially if you're known to them, but mileage in dance time is average for NJ. Overall there is nothing that stands out about this place which makes it very forgettable in the sea that is NJ go-go/strip clubs.
