After a game at Orioles Park, I decided to check out the Ritz Cabaret in the Fells Point section of Baltimore. This club is in a nice part of town - lots of restaurants and people on the street. Unfortunately that makes parking difficult on a Friday night and the Ritz has no parking of its own. I've been here a few times before but not in the last 6 months. This is a friendly club with a $10 cover charge. No discounts for military people which is something I've found at a lot of other clubs. The Ritz has two levels, the main floor which has a bar and single stage plus the upstairs VIP area. VIP is an extra $10. The dancers circulate on both levels so the extra VIP cost doesn't seem to be worthwhile. Lap dances for $30 are also upstairs but no extra cost to use the lapdance area. $30 gets you a bikini dance. In my opinion, you need to go to the $150 15 minute private dance for any dance of value. During past visits to the Ritz, I was always impressed with the quality, beauty, sexiness and friendliness of the dancers. Tonight was different. There were over a dozen dancers but the beauty and sexiness was not there. There were a few rather large girls with purchased tops and then several very skinny girls. I guess it just wasn't my night. Past experience has shown me not to give up on the Ritz. Other clubs in Baltimore range from the seedy "block" to the high class Scores. It's always a fun city. So try the Ritz and maybe you will find a dance you enjoy.
